Although the Originals Online website is designed to be browser-independent ,user-friendly and intuitive, it is recommended that, for the best possible experience,  you use one of  the following browsers:

• Internet Explorer^® 6+
• Netscape^® 7+
• Opera^® 9+
• Safari^® 3+

In addition JavaScript^® and Cookies must be enabled.

Please note: the page header image is a Flash Movie, which requires Macromedia^®  Flash Player 7 or better to view. This is, however, not essential to use of the site functionality.

Should you require it, there is extensive Help available from every page which describes the actions required and explanations of various terms used there. This opens in a new window so that any current operation is not disrupted.

Please enjoy your visit to Originals Online, by following the instructions below.

Click on the Artists link in the left-hand Menu panel for a list of artists sorted by name with an edited biography, if s/he has entered one, in which case, click on more for full version.

Click on the Artworks link to search the database using various criteria. The result can be sorted by artist name or price. Click on the title to view the item details. Should you wish to make a purchase, click on the Add To Basket button to place it into your shopping basket and, when complete, click on Checkout. Please note that the items will be saved using a cookie. An advantage of this method is that your basket will still be available should you close the browser and return later, but the items will always be re-validated at checkout in case they have been sold since your last visit. The cookies will expire on your computer after a maximum of 5 days. Information on Cookies

Click on Commissions to either submit a custom artwork request or to check/update its status, pay for it or cancel it. Choose an artist whose work reflects the style of your own requirements and provide a detailed request including a photo should you wish the artist to work from one. The artist will reply with an estimate of price and delivery date. If these are acceptable you may at this point activate the order.

We use secure online payment via PayPal^® and immediately inform the artist, who will dispatch the item(s) to you directly, after contacting you to arrange a convenient delivery time. Normally you should receive your order within 2-4 days (UK and Ireland only) but please note that they may not necessarily arrive together. Surf to the Tracking page to check an ordered item's status. Should you have any problem with non-delivery or damaged goods please inform us as soon as possible by clicking on the Contact link and quoting the order-item details.

Customers are fully protected by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 which allows return of the item for any reason whatsoever within seven days.

Artists wishing to submit their work or have an exhibition listed should click on the Logon link. New artists will be required to register. Add new items as required.
